If you own an aerobic septic system, you’ve probably noticed that some companies offer multiple maintenance plans.
Basic plans. Premium plans. Deluxe plans.
But here’s a question worth asking:
Should the health of your septic system really depend on which package you purchased?
At Coleman Aerobic Septic, we don’t think so.

Your System Doesn’t Know Which Plan You Bought
Aerobic septic systems rely on several components working together:
aerators
pumps
floats
If any one of those components isn’t maintained properly, the system can start to struggle.
And the system certainly doesn’t know whether you purchased a basic plan or a premium plan.
Your system requires more than minimum standards to perform properly. It simply needs proper maintenance.
What Proper Aerobic Septic Maintenance Looks Like
A well-maintained system should include tasks that help prevent problems before they start.
A Simple Approach
At Coleman Aerobic Septic, we believe septic service should be straightforward.
Our annual service plan includes:
Check the operation of the system and its various components every four months.
Clean compressor filter, sweep away any fireant mounds, and tidy up surrounding area. Filter and clear-line to pressure switch replacement when needed - free of charge. (Only applies to inspection)
Pull pump and clean pump screen
Re-adjust floats when necessary
Check the operation of system alarms, both audible and visual
Check the operation of spray heads and redirect when needed. Make every effort to contact homeowner of an inoperative spray head and replace if authorized
Clean filter and flush drip lines (nothing to flush on spray system) No extra charge
Check chlorine residual. Clear chlorine from chlorinator when buildup occurs. Add chlorine if homeowner has requested this service
Check sludge level and alert homeowner when pumping is advised.
Turn reports into the Regulatory Agency, with a copy to you
We retain a copy of the contract and inspection reports
All for $200 per year.
No tiers. No confusion. Just proper septic service.
We Don’t Do Band-Aids
At Coleman Aerobic Septic, we believe in straight answers.
We don’t appease. We don’t sugarcoat problems to secure a job. .And we definitely don’t put band-aids on septic systems.
Temporary fixes might get you through today; save you from dipping into your wallet — but they usually create bigger problems tomorrow.
If something needs attention, we’ll tell you. If everything looks great, we’ll tell you that too.
Because septic systems don’t need quick fixes. They need proper aerobic septic maintenance and honest service.
That’s how you avoid bigger repairs down the road.
Why Simplicity Matters
Aerobic systems are mechanical systems that require consistent care.
The goal of septic service isn’t to sell different levels of maintenance — it’s to make sure your system continues working the way it was designed.
When maintenance is done properly and consistently, homeowners avoid many of the problems that lead to expensive repairs.
